Paris in Two Days: How? Where? What?
If you visit Paris in two days, you will not be able to see absolutely everything. Paris has so many museums, restaurants, shops and monuments that even a 1-week trip wouldn’t cover it all. Yet, if you stay somewhere central and make a list of the best places to eat or have a drink, you can optimize your time.
Where to Stay in Paris?
Paris welcomes millions of visitors and offers a plethora of hotels and rentals. Every arrondissement has its own identity and atmosphere. Here is our pick of the best districts to stay:

Top Things to See in Paris in Two Days
To visit Paris in two days, it’s all about being methodical! Here’s an example of how you could make the most out of your short stay in the City of Light.
Visit Paris in Two Days: Day 1
The first day of your trip to Paris is dedicated to the most famous monuments. Who could wait even a minute more to admire the Eiffel Tower? One of the best vantage points to see the Iron Lady is the Trocadéro, from which many visitors like to immortalize their trip by taking a few pictures. If you want to get to the top, make sure you buy your ticket online to avoid having to queue for too long.
After an entire morning spent at the Eiffel Tower, head to the Latin Quarter by taking a Paris Bus Pass on our Blue Line. You can admire the Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe along the way and go down the Champs-Elysées and through the Place de la Concorde. Stop at one of the many restaurants in the Quartier Latin for lunch before going to the Panthéon and to the majestic cathedral of Notre-Dame.
You could also take the Batobus to the île de la Cité. This Seine shuttle is a unique way to get around the capital: romantic for couples and fun for kids! With our Seine River Cruise Hop-on Hop-Off Pass, take the boats and buses as you please!
At the end of the afternoon, cross to the right bank – on foot or by taking advantage of one of Open Tour’s Green Line buses – and head to the Marais. You only have a few hours to do some shopping in this charming neighborhood before winding down at one of the capital’s trendy bars and restaurants.
Once you’ve had a nice dinner, hop aboard a double-decker bus for a one-and-a-half-hour-illumination tour. Dive into the magic of Paris’s illuminations with our 2-day Bus + Night tour Pass! The Opéra, the Louvre, Notre-Dame, the Seine, the Champs-Elysées, the Eiffel Tower, Saint-Germain-des-Prés and more put on an unforgettable light show.
Visit Paris in Two Days: Day 2
Sit on the bench in the Jardin des Tuileries and enjoy a butter croissant breakfast before going on an adventure in one of the world’s most beautiful museums: The Louvre. You will at least need the entire morning to see the most renowned paintings and sculptures. If you are touring Paris as a family, you could replace your Louvre visit with the Grévin museum.
For lunch, one of our Red Line, panoramic buses will take you to the famous neighborhood of Montmartre. There, you will find many traditional restaurants offering delicious and inexpensive dishes. Walking around Montmartre is a wonderful activity in and of itself. Couples could take a selfie in front of the “Wall of I Love You’s”, near Jehan Rictus Square. The Sacré-Coeur basilica is great to visit as a family. Stay at the top of the Butt Montmartre until sundown to admire the splendid view.
At night-time, experience the buzz of Parisian evenings in Pigalle. Take a picture of the Moulin Rouge and enjoy the festive atmosphere of the city, concluding your unforgettable visit of Paris in two days on a high note!
